Extinction Sensor
Extinction Sensor

The Extinction Sensor connects holistically into the biosphere to detect species loss. It types out each organism's biological class and biogeographic location as they become extinct in real time.

The majority of these losses go unnoticed and their relevance and importance to supporting a functioning Biosphere of Planet Earth will not be realized until it is too late.

Originally exhibitied as part of All The Names for Natural:History (A Fable of Progress) 2018.
